Elementa are recruiting for a confident Learning Support Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a Year 3 child with additional learning needs. The child has SEND relating to SEMH.

For this role, the ideal applicant will be able to deliver clear guidance and expectations to the child in order to manage their often challenging behaviour. If you have had previous training in postitive behaviour management, or other skills and experience of working with learners that display challenging behaviour, we'd love to heard from you.

The successful applicant will enjoy working with supportive colleagues, a whole-school collaborative & inclusive environment and the rewarding opportunity to support a child in developing their interpersonal skills alongside their peers.

Elementa is the recruiting partner and interested applicants will be required to complete pre-screening and the registration process for Elementa. This includes full vetting & background checks and application for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure unless you have a current DBS on the update service. You will also be required to complete and submit an online application form to Elementa in order to formalise your application for this role.

This role will be run through Elementa Education. All candidates working through Elementa are expected to engage with their respective role as if employed permanently from the outset. Elementa Education has a fair play policy, respecting the teacher main pay scale structure (where applicable) and only employ candidates on a PAYE basis (no umbrella companies or self-employed statuses.)
