Contek are working with a Precision Engineering Company in Wirral who produce One off and small batch parts to various sectors in a versatile environment.
They are looking for an experienced CNC Machinists (Hurco) to join the team. Other system experience would be considered with transferrable skills.
1x CNC MILLING - HURCO
1x CNC TURNING - HURCO
This is a Day shift role Mon-Thurs 8:00-4:30pm, Fri 8:00-2:30pm with Overtime available
As a CNC Programmer, your duties will include;
* Programming and Operating CNC Turning OR Milling machines using Hurco Controls. (Other systems considered)
* Working to tight tolerances
* Working in a typical sub-contract environment
The Candidate:
To be considered for this role, the candidate must possess the following;
* Strong experience Programming - Hurco
* Confidently able to write own programmes from scratch
* Able to read and work to technical drawings
* Able to work unsupervised
* Experience working with varied materials
* Knowledge of Geometric tolerances
