Retail Assistant Gift Shop

* (Full Time 37.5 hour permanent contract - Alternate Weekends)
We are currently looking for a Gift Shop General Assistant to join our large retail team. As an integral part of the team, you will work in the gifting/lifestyle area of the Garden Centre. The ideal candidate should have some experience in gifting, toiletries, fashion and lifestyle products and an eye for visual merchandising. Experience in retail and customer service is also desirable. You will be required to work weekends and bank holidays
Duties include:
Pricing and merchandising of a variety of products Replenishing stock Assisting customers with their purchases Customer Till operation General housekeeping Quality customer service
Requirements of the role:
You must be fully flexible and the role includes weekend working A can-do attitude and a passion for teamwork Good communication skills Work well under pressure Professionalism and reliability Good time management Excellent customer service skills Highly motivated and enthusiastic with a drive to succeed Able to work using own initiative
