Page Personnel are working in partnership with their Logistics and Supply Chain client based in Skelmersdale to recruit for a HR Advisor. This is a permanent role. The successful candidate will act as HR Adviser providing effective advice and support in a timely and proactive manner. They will support the Group HR Manager to deliver a comprehensive HR service ensuring a flexible, corporate and holistic approach which supports the delivery of business goals.

Description
Advise managers in all aspects of employment relations including, GDPR, bullying, harassment, conduct, performance management, grievance, sickness absence in line with the employment policies, employment law and good practice
Support the Group HR Manager in the development and revision of employment policies
Provide staff with information on their terms and conditions of service
Ensure/oversee that changes to individual staff records are processed efficiently within agreed timescales, liaising with managers, and payroll staff as appropriate and ensuring GDPR compliance is maintained at all times
Work with and support local Managers to ensure the provision of a responsive, high quality recruitment service to ensure that they are able to fill vacancies in an efficient manner
Maintenance of employee records and to provide the Group HR Manager and local Managers with accurate and relevant workforce information
Work with the Group HR Manager to develop and produce monthly, quarterly and other reports on HR activity (sickness, vacancy levels, turnover etc)
Support the Group HR Manager, as required in evaluating job roles and activities consistently appointed in line with wider business practice and structures
Work with the Group HR Manager to devise training programmes for managers that enhance people and professional management, and to deliver these training sessions as required
Work with managers in the identification of training needs, particularly in relation to developing people management skills, and to deliver training courses and briefing sessions including: recruitment and selection, performance management, capability, bullying and harassment, sickness absenceProfile
CIPD level 5 qualification or above
Experience gained in Transport/Warehouse/Supply Chain/Logistics
Considerable HR employment experience essential
Strong communicator, confident to handle all situations
Well presented with a professional manner
Experience of HRIS Implementation
Experience of writing HR GDPR/Data Protection Policies
Experience of developing HR SAR Procedures
Advanced IT Capabilities - Excel, HRIS, Mail merge, Visio, Word/Forms
Highly analytical and data driven
Driver with own car, flexible to travel to other sitesJob Offer
