The primary objective of this role is the provision of business application support for the Unit4 ERP (also known as Business World / Agresso) system. As a member of the ERP Support team, duties will include incident resolution across a variety of modules, system and process enhancements as part of Requests for Change and project development, production of internal Support team procedures and processes to support the reliable performance of the Unit4 ERP system and production of monthly MI.
What you'll be doing:
- Unit4 ERP incident tracking and resolution (particularly for HR and Payroll modules) including data maintenance and user maintenance within target SLAs and OLAs.
- Provide face to face advice and assistance through liaison with a range of internal stakeholders
- Proto typing of Small Enhancements and performing unit testing
- Deployment of development / small enhancements into Live, adhering to the Change Control process
- Assist and support issue tracking and support team logs and statistics
- Update and maintain Support team documentation and guidelines
- Perform ad hoc activity to support wider ERP projects, developments, and initiatives
Who we're looking for:
- Aptitude for analytical thinking in order to deal with complex system issues and /or datasets.
- Understanding how areas of the system are interlinked is crucial when dealing with change or root cause analysis.
- Comfortable engaging in multiple initiatives simultaneously - this includes managing multiple incidents, small enhancements, and user recertifications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required when dealing with users or other Support Teams, e.g. to reaffirm system functionality or to translate incident resolution in a manner and language that end user can understand.
- The ability to build and develop good relationships with a wide range of internal stakeholders (across different areas of the business and varying levels of seniority) in order to expand on the capabilities of Business World, or to drive system efficiencies, or to optimise existing business processes

- Working knowledge of HR and Payroll functionality
