Our specialism is recruiting within Children's Services, both Temp and Perm. DegreeSix is one of the largest social care agencies within the midlands and due to our continued success an opportunity has arisen for a Finance Officer, based in our Leicester City Centre office.
Responsibilities for the Finance Officer role will include:
Bookkeeping:
Enter all bills and expenses on Quickbooks Online
Meeting deadlines to assist accountants with quarterly VAT returns.
Keeping client accounts up to date on Quickbooks.Payroll & Billing:
Work alongside payroll administrator to help finalise weekly payrolls and invoicing.
Manage all workers statutory payments, holiday pay, attachment of earnings deductions.
Ensure all temp workers are paid on time weekly - import payment file online banking.
Create and sending invoices for permanent placements.
The successful candidate will have:
18 months experience in payroll (Essential).
12 months experience in bookkeeping (Desirable).
Experience using Quickbooks Online (Desirable).
Experience working in a similar role.
Strong IT skills.
Efficient time management.
Ability to work on your own initiative.
Previous experience within a recruitment agency would be advantageous.
