Bid Manager
Location: Watford
Salary: GBP35,000 - GBP40,000 + benefits
Our client is a well-established Cleaning & Support services provider with a clear strategy to grow its core cleaning business. In line with continued growth, it is seeking to appoint a Bid Manager to be based out of its Head Office in Watford.
The successful individual will be expected to work individually and as part of the wider team. You will respond to tender opportunities, write contract-winning narrative, and ensure that professional responses are submitted within the required timescales.
To succeed in this role, you will be a collaborative team player with excellent breadth and depth of experience of the bidding process. You will be skilled at producing and editing professional proposal content that clearly articulates the company's value proposition to deliver a winning bid. You will be experienced in participating in key review meetings/final document review and content sign off. You will be an excellent communicator and negotiator and have the ability to implement strategies to improve sales and business growth.
Skills:
*Minimum 2 years' experience working in a bid environment within the facilities management/support services sector
*Understanding of procurement processes from PQQ to ITT
*Excellent written English with the ability to write bids concisely in a style that represents the Company
*Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Office and Adobe skills essential
*Numerate, with well-developed commercial skills
*Have the creativity and desire to continually improve on corporate presentation style
*The ability to work on and manage multiple projects simultaneously and work to deadlines
*Ideally degree educated / professional writing background
