A major brand within the Sneaker market is looking for a for an International Copywriter.
As a key member of the brand marketing team, the ideal candidate will have the ability to
communicate and inspire our audience to action. Becoming the voice behind the brand, you will have a passion for urban footwear, a fast-growing consumer lifestyle brand and be given the opportunity to get ahead of trends. Ultimately accountable to the Marketing Director, the successful candidate will be the ultimate team player during this next phase of growth.
The role holder has responsibility for ensuring the tone of voice and corporate personality is consistent across all platforms and considering local cultures and markets. You will be responsible for supporting distributors and retailers with Crep owned messaging. You will work closely with the Ecommerce content manager to ensure online ecommerce content is fresh and driving engagement.
The individual will work in a fast-paced environment as part of an integrated marketing team includingcontent, campaigns, social, data insights, brand, events, PR and internal communications and alongside the business development colleagues globally.
Key responsibilities
Creation of all global Crep protect copy & messaging including, but not limited to:
Brand messaging
Product copy
Collaborations
Organic social posts - all channels
Ecommerce platform
Blog
Distributor/Retail sell-in checks
Company/brand presentations
Management of regional language translations of created copy. This may be via a distributor oragency partner
Required Experience
A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or similar
1+ years of digital experience, ideally in business-to-business organisations
A fashion, retail and/or urban background preferred
Some previous experience with content/creative strategy and complex multi-channel roll-outsis desirable
Exceptional skill with the nuances of social media writing, including the use of hashtags,emojis and acronyms
Key competencies
Self-starter, true team player; comfortable engaging with stakeholders directly to set agenda
and goals.
Strong collaborator - working closely with other functions plus external agencies and external
teams to achieve the best results.
Ability to prioritise a workload in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
Excellent communication skills.
Strong attention to detail.
