FP&A Manager
We're looking for an Accountant that doesn't want to be an Accountant..
This job is much more analytical and you'll be producing accurate information and analysis to the wider business.
You'll manage the business forecasting looking at historic and future sales and will provide insights into the numbers to determine performance and influences on the business. Actively involved in stock planning you will work cross functionally with the commercial and operational teams to ensure their activity reflects the forecast.
You will the go to person for data and analysis covering margin, sales, turnover, SKU and KPI's
With a management accountant as a direct report, this job is for someone who honed their skills in a manufacturing environment, who can work independently and is strong enough to stand by their numbers when scrutinised.
You'll be looking at large and complex data sets and steering the business to ensure they have the optimum and most efficient inventory to reduce working capital and satisfy production. You'll interrogate data by customer, by SKU, by season, by cost and you'll produce inventory forecasts.
It's your ability to network the wider business, making it a cohesive approach that will determine your success. Sales, purchasing and supply chain will all have input into your daily activities and your solid manufacturing background means you know where to get answers from.
It goes without saying you're a whizz on Excel, have been working in a commercial/analytical job for a number of years and get a warm, fuzzy feeling when you look at spreadsheets.
If this sounds like you send your CV via the link or you can call- (phone number removed), Ali for a confidential chat
