Midlands / East of England - Home based (Travel as required across our geography).
Up to GBP36,801.81 plus car allowance

To help them deliver this ambitious vision, they are now looking for a Clerk of Works to join their expanding Growth and Development team.
The Role
Working in this role you will be key in ensuring their works are to the required quality, meet specification and fulfil legislative and contractual requirements.
You will both visit and provide weekly written site reports whilst keeping accurate records of the inspections that you complete. Working with the clients you will ensure that projects are running correctly whilst reporting on and monitoring the performance of Health and Safety compliance.
Working with the employer's agent you will participate in project meetings as well as representing the client in arranging, carrying out and signing the end of DLP inspections.
You will also have the opportunity to lead on snagging inspections and sign off completed work as well as assisting in design consultations, specification reviews and the investigation of new projects.
This opportunity will allow you to influence the projects we work on and help them in improving the lives of their customers.
About You
To be successful in this role you will ideally be educated in a construction-based qualification or a member of the Institute of Clerk of works / RICS / CIOB.
You will have built up a knowledge of masonry and timber frame construction methods and have a current knowledge of NHBC requirements and building regulations.
You will be an excellent communicator possessing good negotiation skills and comfortable in completing site visits.
