Production Operative (Assembler)
Location: Plymouth
Salary: Negotiable (D.O.E)

We are currently looking for an experienced Production Operative (Assembly Operator) to be responsible for the production of Electro-Mechanical products and systems within their Plymouth Naval Systems team.
Production Operative (Assembler) Key Responsibilities:
Accurate assembly of Equipment to Engineering drawings and procedures to lead times set by the production planning department.
Labelling of parts during assembly ensuring serial numbers are documented where necessary.
Assembly and fitting of cable looms.
Ensure that all documentation related to your work is kept accurate and up to date.
Liaise with production control when kits are incomplete.
Help organise and control the workshop areas.
Effective communications with engineering team.
Checking that all work meets quality and technical standards.
Production Operative (Assembler) Requirements
Electrical and Mechanical assembly from technical or engineering drawings
Experience as an Assembler within an electro-mechanical production environment.
Good use of hand tools with the ability to work from engineering drawings.
Ability to work with other production teams to ensure the final build is delivered successfully
Experience of Soldering ideally to IPC-A-610 standard is desirable but not essential.
Must be Able to obtain Security Clearance
