Warehouse Supervisor

POSITION PURPOSE:

Responsible for leading a highly organized team delivering daily customer targets in line with agreed SLA's and SOW's.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and maintain operational delivery plans, ensure compliance with departmental operating processes and procedures, to enhance performance, accuracy levels and interdepartmental perceptions.
• Ensure maximum utilisation of manpower working to agreed Operational KPI's and Metrics
• Responsible for managing replenishment, picking, packing, shipping
• Proactive communications, timely Response to issues, providing updates via email or phone in a timely manner.
• Maintaining operational safety, housekeeping and maintenance standards.
• Must be able to interact with other departments to help make the team successful.
• Must be able to drive productivity while simultaneously controlling costs.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

• Distribution centre experience.
• Demonstrable previous leadership experience.
• JDE/WMS knowledge required.
• Computer literacy with proficiency in all Microsoft programs.
• Ability to interact and communicate with all levels both internally and externally.
• Must be able to monitor, measure and maintain professional attitude
• Promote fair, safe, trained and engaged work environment
• Must be able to work weekends and overtime as needed
