Rexel are currently seeking a Digital Sales Lead to join our digital department, to increase the digital growth of Rexel customer accounts by generating new business through account acquisition and transition new customers to our branch network.

As a Digital Sales Lead for Rexel, your main responsibilities will be to:

* Predominantly telephone sales role selling the benefits of Rexel, promote our omni-channel offering by setting up an online account for the customer, win the first order, set up and negotiate pricing terms, sell a mixture of products to increase the average order value and increase SKU's using cross selling and up-selling.

* Provide a consistently excellent level of customer service and attention to detail when contacting potential new and existing customers

* Utilise promotions and new product ranges combined with CRM tools and open questioning techniques to establish how we can maximise our service and gain more business

* Consistently generate profitable sales from customer portfolio by effectively using a range of techniques and resources to maximise quality conversations, sales and new product range growth

* Process customer orders, ensuring the best customer experience is achieved on every order

* Ownership of customer pricing terms, maximising the individual sales and margin opportunities for each customer

* Provide accurate reporting, information and feedback in the required format and within agreed timelines to enable the business to continually improve sales and service.

* Drive and promote sales throughout the national branch network by a positive and professional approach at all times.

* Full accountability for updating in-house CRM system with customer details and call activities

* Responsible for customer online journey - set up web account, demonstrate features and benefits and support customer in becoming proficient at trading online with Rexel.

As a Digital Sales Lead for Rexel, you will need:

* Experience in a fast paced, competitive, target driven, customer focused role or environment with significant telesales experience

* Direct selling to new and existing customers with proven track report of generating new business and consistent sales growth

* Must be able to work using own initiative from a remote / home based location - flexibility is possible

* Digital experience/working with a web shop ordering system

* Working with a CRM

To be a successful Digital Sales Lead at Rexel, you must have:

* You must be highly driven in delivering fast results

* Multi-tasking managing multiple workstream simultaneously - selling, prospecting, CRM data management, chasing orders and closing deals

* Electrical wholesale experience or electrical product knowledge is advantageous

* Excellent phone manner and ability to connect with a potential customer

* Commercial awareness

* Very IT and digital literate - able to use social media etc

* Excellent communication skills

* Self-motivated

* Strong research skills - able to analyse the customers information to drive a sale.

The Digital Sales Lead role is a FULL TIME permanent position MONDAY - FRIDAY and we offer a pension, life assurance, 25 days holiday plus statutory bank holidays.
