Payroll Processor - Temporary assignment to start ASAP

Our client is ideally looking for an experienced Payroll Processor.

If you have a bureau background this role would be perfect for you but this is not essential.

Knowledge of Furlough and Star Payroll would be ideal.

Working days:

Monday - Friday - 09.00 - 17.00

Timeframe:

To work for the last 2 weeks of the month only, on an ongoing basis until we have recruited into Payroll Manager role.

Salary:

GBP11-GBP12 per hour

Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Processor to join our friendly Payroll Bureau who are responsible for processing payrolls for over 400 of our clients. The ideal candidate will have previous Payroll experience and be ready to develop their knowledge and grow with our Company.

Requirements for Payroll Processor:

Relevant Payroll experience - 5yrs experience, working in Bureau advantage
Familiar with a payroll processing program such as Star Payroll
Be able to handle large volumes of data
Knowledge of RTI requirements
Knowledge of auto enrolment including processing of NEST transactions (preferable)
Knowledge of furlough /furlough calculation (advantage)
Good knowledge of Microsoft products including Word, Excel and Outlook
Work well within a team environment
Communicate effectively with internal and external parties
