Due to the on-going success and growth of the company we are looking for a self-motivated, bright, enthusiastic Import Assistant / freight coordinator to join the team in Rainham Essex.

Import Assistant Duties to Include: -

• Deal with import FCL, LCL, Sea freight shipments.
• Booking clients deliveries with shipping lines or merchant hauliers.
• Dealing with correspondence from overseas agents & clients.
• Working under their own initiative but also taking direction when required.

The successful Import Assistant must have/be: -

• Experience of freight forwarding Industry having knowledge of Bills of Lading and all other shipping/freight related documentation.
• He / She will be involved in communicating with overseas agents via e-mail so should possess written and verbal communication skills and Must be Computer Literate.
