Great opportunity to work as a Warehouse Operative for a leading online UK retailer.
Staffline is recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to work in Hatfield.
Please note, this role involves working in a chilled environment, handling meat and alcohol.
The rate of pay is:
- Day shifts/afternoons, GBP8.91 per hour
- Nights shifts, 9.91 per hour
(Overtime is available after working 40 hours and the rates are from GBP11.14 to GBP12.14 per hour.)
After 12 weeks of work, the rates of pay will increase to:
- GBP9.46 per hour - days
- GBP10.00 per hour - lates
- GBP11.28 per hour - nights
- GBP14.19 per hour - overtime days
- GBP15.00 per hour - overtime lates/afternoons
- GBP16.01 per hour - overtime nights
The shifts available are:
- 4:45am to 2:45pm
- 5:45am to 2:45pm
- 6am to 2pm
Late shifts:
- 2pm to 10pm
- 6pm to 5am
- 7:50pm to 6:50am
- 10pm to 6am
At this site, bonuses are awarded for meeting performance targets, and many additional on-site benefits are available.
We have fixed and flexible shifts available with us as well as various temp to perm options: fixed, flexible, Full Time, Part Time and zero-hours contracts available AFTER completing 12 weeks with the agency.
Your Time at Work
As a Warehouse Operative, you will complete one of the following duties:
- Unloading stock
- Picking customer orders
- Loading vans and lorries
Depending on the task you're doing, lots of walking and manual handling will be required.
You may also work in a chilled environment, where temperatures can be -0.5 degrees.

You must have good attention to detail and be able to work accurately.
No previous experience is necessary as you'll receive full training.
