Graduate Business Administrator - Shipping/Logistics

GBP18,000 - GBP22,000 plus bonus and benefits
Outsource UK have partnered with a global Logistics client who require a recent graduate ideally with a business focussed degree to join them as a Graduate Business Administrator within their Logistics and Shipping division. This role has been created following a record year of growth for the company last year and one which they are looking to emulate this year.
This is a permanent opportunity which includes a base salary of between GBP18,000 - GBP22,000 dependent upon experience and qualifications plus bonus and benefits.
Overview of the Graduate Business Administrator role:
Manage the daily workload pro-actively and prioritise accordingly to ensure the highest level of service is delivered to all parties involved.
Understand country specific requirements on documentation and ensure they are provided for each shipment.
Communicate daily with colleagues, customers, suppliers, cold stores, vets, and freight forwarders to ensure all requests/requirements are handled in a timely manner.
Handle various payment terms for customer and supplier accounts, including but not limited to pre-payments, Letters of Credit, Cash Against Documents, direct payments etc.
Apply for where required certificates of origin, BSC certificates, bank documentation etc.
