Trainee IT Support Technician

Job Introduction

We are currently recruiting for a Trainee IT Support Technician to join our busy IT Department. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm with an hour for lunch.

Role and Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting & resolving basic IT issues.
• Setting up user logins for in house systems and creating ID cards for new staff.
• Closing down access for staff who are leaving.
• Logging and routing IT support calls
• Ensuring the internal company directory is kept up to date.
• Administering internal systems to assist in the smooth running of the department.
• Providing cover for our Head Office Reception as required.

About You

• All training will be provided, no previous IT experience is necessary.
• Experience of data entry will be advantageous, as would a keen interest in IT Technology.
• Self-motivated and able to work both independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects, tight deadlines and changing priorities.
• Excellent inter-personal skills and friendly written communication and verbal skills.
