About the role

We're looking for a Benefits Manager join us at HMNB Devonport, one of the largest naval bases in Western Europe. We're a key strategic partner to our customers; the MOD and the Royal Navy. We ensure that the UK Royal Navy goes to sea safely by supporting them in Devonport and around the world, delivering complex ship and submarine sustainment programmes and applying our core strengths of technology and expertise to sustain critical and complex assets to help maintain national security.

We are looking for a highly-motivated and driven individual to join our unique and exciting Warships support team, as a Benefits Realisation Manager. The role will see the successful candidate manage benefit realisation activities associated with the Warships Support value stream, reporting to the Business support lead within the Programme Management Office (PMO) and working closely with the Transformation Programme team.

This role will lead the realisation and governance of benefits realisation, influencing across operational teams and business functions within the Warships value stream, in order to drive increased efficiency and effectiveness of support delivery to Royal Navy ships.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our business and be part of our drive towards enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the Babcock support value stream, and delivering world class engineering support services to its customers.

What do I need to do the role?

You'll need Risk and Performance Management experience.

We would also like you to have:
*Project Management
*Change Management
*Benefits Realisation
*Financial & Commercial awareness
*Competency in verbal and written communications to deliver outputs at Board Level, with a track record of using MS Office Suite of programmes

Lastly, the ability to operate in a partnering environment with other Managers and Customer

What else do I need to know?
*The successful candidate will need to satisfy Ministry of Defence security requirements. This may require you to hold or be eligible/capable of achieving 'Security Check' (SC) clearance.
