Job Title: Mixed Tax Manager, Location: East Bristol, Position: Permanent Salary: GBP45k + (DOE), + Benefits
Autograph Recruitment are working with a leading regional firm of Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors based in East Bristol who are looking to appoint a Mixed Tax Manager. Through a huge expansion of our client base we have created a new and challenging opportunity for an experienced and ambitious tax manager to join our practice. This is a full-time position and offers an excellent opportunity for the right candidate.
Working closely with the tax directors, you will be responsible for the management of the corporate tax compliance function for the firm, to include managing a team of staff and to undertake reviews of tax computations for our diverse client portfolio. You will also support the tax directors in various planning work. This can range from reconstructions, share schemes, inheritance tax planning and advisory work for other practices.
This role will also include a level of personal tax review work. As this is a new position, we see that there is potential to tailor the role to suit you based on your ambitions and help drive the practice forward as we continue our year on year growth.
About you
* You will ideally be CTA qualified and have an extensive corporate tax background, but this is not essential.
* You will have an excellent knowledge base and technical ability, whilst being comfortable managing a team of people.
* You will have exemplary client facing skills, have a strong work ethic and a desire to improve and develop others around you.
The package
There is a generous remuneration package, including:
* Salary negotiable depending on experience, but starting at GBP45k
* Regular performance and salary review

* Regular individualized CPD paid for and arranged by the firm

* Flexible working hours, 37.5 hour-week
