We are looking for production operatives to join our busy food production client based in Avonmouth, working as part of the Production team to help produce a range of delicious products, including sandwiches, wraps, salads and other food to go products.
The production team cover a variety of shifts which will be discussed at interview stage, shifts include morning, afternoon and weekend. Flexibility is important.
Help to make and pack our products, which could include preparing and making our products
No matter what task you are doing, there is always a focus on safety, quality and hygiene to ensure our customers receive the best possible products.
This role will involve standing for long periods and working in cold temperatures (8-10 degrees). It may also include will also repeat lifting and carrying ingredients and products.
Experience Required:
* Ability to communicate in English both verbally and in writing to a good standard
* Numerate and literate
Due to the finish times, all successful candidates will need to have their own transport/access to a car/bike/pushbike.
The role of a Warehouse Operative/ Picker will always require you to be on your feet and mobile. Whilst this is a rewarding role, with excellent personal growth opportunities, it is also a very physically demanding role in a chilled environment.
Duties will include:
?? Picking products/orders accurately whilst ensuring picking targets are achieved
?? Keep accurate records
?? Carry out general maintenance and cleaning of the warehouse
?? Work within the health and safety requirements of the site
?? Ad hoc duties i.e. supporting production.
The successful candidate
?? To be physically fit as this is a demanding role and you will be expected to achieve productivity targets
?? Although it is not essential, warehouse experience would be an advantage
The pay rate is GBP9.50ph
