Live in Care Assistant

Our client is a young female adult with complex needs and who is a wheelchair user. Your role will be to provide care and support to our client whilst she attends Southampton University and out in the community, assisting the client to maintain her own independence and to enrich her life. She is seeking a carer who is lively and bubbly and will encourage her to participate in clubs and activities.

You will have your own room, with en-suite in the Halls of Residence at Southampton University.

Pay rates: GBP924.58 per week (inclusive of holiday pay) - approximately GBP180 per day

Flexible working: You can work week on / week off or two weeks on / two weeks off

Healthcare Assistants (HCA's) will have an opportunity to build on their current experience by working directly with clinical interventions including but not limited to:-

NG/Gastrostomy feeding, BIPAP, Cough Assist, Tracheostomy. Suction etc.
