Job Title: Wellbeing Access Worker
Salary Grade: £18,908 per annum, pro rata
Responsible to: Community Fundraising Manager (HMN) and Access Lead (HPFT)
No. of Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Fixed term 1 year
Main Base/s: Time will be spent at a range of bases for both Hertfordshire Mind Network and Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust; countywide travel will be required.
Purpose of Post
There is an exciting opportunity for the position of Wellbeing Access Worker, working closely in partnership with Hertfordshire Mind Network and the Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust Wellbeing Service to improve access and reach of mental health provision across Hertfordshire.
The post holder will play a key role marketing and promoting both organisation’s provision as well as ensuring relationships between both partners are maintained.
The post holder will work to ensure that individuals who need to access mental health support are able to by providing accurate information and guidance.
About you
Evidence of continual professional development
Knowledge of mild to moderate mental health conditions and how these might present in primary care
Evidence of working to deadlines, and achieving outcomes against targets
Experience of service promotion and development
Good marketing knowledge and expertise including the use of social media (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube)
Experience of delivering monitoring and evaluation information
Demonstrable understanding of relevant legislation and policies in regards to child and adult at risk protection issues and legal responsibilities, such as the General Data Protection Regulation, Child Protection, Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults
Excellent communication skills and ability to develop effective working relationships at all levels
Advanced interpersonal and presentation skills
Ability to deal with stressful and difficult situations in a calm manner
Ability to involve clients and carers in all aspects of the work
Ability to prioritise and manage workload
Ability to de-escalate and risk manage; considering safeguarding policy and processes
Good IT skills including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and digital media
Car driver with a clean driving license and willingness to travel to locations countywide
Ability to work some unsocial hours
Show flexibility in working location due to the requirement to provide countywide provision
