Assistant Site Manager
RECRUITMENTiQ is working in partnership with a business in the education sector in their search for an Assistant Site Manager.
37 hours per week / 52 weeks a year
Shifts on rota between 0700 and 1700
Additional Trade enhancement of GBP1,000 - GBP2,000
Closing date: Friday 02 July 2021
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, capable, skilled and self-motivated individual with good practical maintenance experience and with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Working as part of the site team, candidates should be able to work proactively and independently to ensure the efficient operation of the school. Additional trade enhancement offered for proven experience/knowledge in the following trades: electrician, plumber or carpenter/joiner.
Duties will include:
Assisting in planned preventative maintenance, ad-hoc repairs and minor works to the grounds and buildings.
Moving furniture and supplies as requested and occasional working at height
Assisting with maintaining the cleanliness of the site
Maintaining the security of the building and grounds, including patrols and inspections of the site
Maintaining all tools and school equipment to ensure they are kept in good working order
About you:
You will have a sound understanding of health & safety requirements, good communication skills, good literacy and numeracy skills and be IT proficient. Flexibility is essential as the role involves working on a shift rotation.
