Employment Coordinator
Location: East Ayrshire, Inverclyde and North Ayrshire.
Salary: GBP26,785 pro-rata per annum.
Contract: 28 hours per week.
Your role, as an ENABLE Works Employment Coordinator, is to support to unemployed individuals, facing barriers to their journey into work. Your role is to support your team to help deliver training to secure sustainable job opportunities, and deliver qualitative, holistic client support.
Working on the Employability Fund programme, you will be responsible for the recruitment of EF groups in Inverclyde, North and East Ayrshire. You will have a strong understanding of Employability Fund, and/or other similar employability programmes. You will have a strong knowledge of the local employability landscape, and possible referral routes.
You will motivate and monitor performance to ensure we deliver a quality service across the programme whilst meeting challenging compliance and performance expectations.
You will work with teams to accurately forecast delivery outcomes, drive performance within teams, and identify and effectively manage any risks to performance to ensure targets are achieved.
Responsible for quality and compliance you will work closely with our Compliance Officer, overseeing internal audits, recognising trends, identifying risks areas and actioning effective contingencies.
You will develop strong stakeholder relationships with employers and partner organisations across Ayrshire and Inverclyde, to ensure qualitative and collaborative support is available to every client.
You will be an important member of the wider ENABLE Works team, supporting departmental objectives through effective programme management, but also through positive collaboration and innovation within your team to support our strategic, societal goals.
About You
Qualifications:
• Full UK Driver's License
• PDA in Supported Employment
Knowledge and Understanding:
• A commitment to support people to get the jobs they want
• Understanding of employability services and methodologies
• Knowledge of Employability Fund or similar services
• Knowledge of skills and employment services
• Understanding of relevant policy and legislation
• Knowledge of local authority services and employability networks in these areas
