The Camden Recovery Service works with people in recovery from substance use as well as those living in Camden’s hostel pathway.

SHP (Single Homeless Project) is one of London’s leading homelessness prevention charities and a dynamic and growing organisation changing 8,000 lives every year across London - from supporting people in crisis, to helping them take the final steps towards independence and employment.

We are currently recruiting a Recovery Coordinator who will focus their time significantly upon the coordination and delivery of the Camden DRR (Drug Rehabilitation Requirement) programme; overseeing the logistics of the day programme (including facilitation), managing referrals, holding a small caseload and maintaining relevant partnerships across the substance use treatment pathway and the Criminal Justice System. 

The ideal candidate will have some understanding of the issues relating to substance use and offending, as well as the issues faced by individuals when looking for employment, education and training. You will have also have experience of providing ETE support, guidance and advice to socially excluded groups and in planning, facilitating and delivering group work sessions.  The ability to apply various approaches including coaching and motivational interview techniques; to inspire and empower our clients is also required.
