HR Generalist - Healthcare

The first HR professional we placed with this business joined them just over 18 months ago and has enjoyed fantastic progression since then.

Now, as the business continues to grow, we've been tasked with finding the first member of their team - an experienced HR Generalist - to work alongside and report to the HR Manager.

About the role

You'll work closely with the HR Manager, supporting them with the day-to-day and sharing responsibility for the 150+ employees from an HR perspective. Naturally, that'll involve things like overseeing employee relations, managing cases, supporting employees and managers, onboarding, training, compliance, policies, maintaining records and more. You'll know all that though because you'll have broad HR responsibilities in your current role.

Together, you'll keep everything running smoothly, guide the business through continued growth, and help promote an efficient, happy workplace.

Due to the nature of the business and the need for you to be accessible to colleagues, this role will be office-based full time.

About you

You'll have broad HR experience and hold a CIPD Level 5 diploma. You will also have a strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, relevant laws, and employee relations best practice.

More than that, you'll be driven, resilient, and confident working independently or in partnership with the HR Manager or other internal stakeholders. You'll also have excellent people skills and a calm approach to your work.

What's in it for you?

The starting salary on offer is up to GBP35,000, and senior leaders understand the value of rewarding hard work so there's likely to be increased earning potential in the future for the right person.

You'll also have many opportunities to develop your skills, working in a growing healthcare business with regular challenging and varied work, and the support of a highly experienced manager.

About the business

This privately-owned business plays a vital role in the safe transportation of patients and has a wide range of vehicles and equipment to enable that work.

They've previously been recognised as one of the best employers in their region, and earned accreditation from Investors in People, thanks in part to their values that emphasise teamwork, equality, honesty, compassion, and respect
