Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Telemetry Control Technician for one of the largest Utility companies in the Midlands.

Telemetry Control Technician - Role Objective:
To ensure the effective operation and control of the Company's wastewater distribution assets to the required business, environmental & customer targets.

Telemetry Control Technician - Key Accountabilities:

Managing and responding to eSCADA telemetry alarms, this will include interrogation of the alarm prior to requesting site engineer attendance. (the Company's telemetry system).
Manage asset failure or problems on the Wastewater system including Incident support.
Alert Customer Contact teams of asset failure that may lead to customer contact. This will include the triage & diagnostics of asset risks and helping to build the response to ensure resolutions are in place and are effective.
Escalating risks and issues to the Waste Water Hub, ensuring that corrective actions are followed to completion.
Helping to reduce alarm volumes by escalating opportunities to reduce nuisance alarms.
Playing an active role in improving mimics, asset data quality and alarm responses. This will be done using SBF techniques and being actively engaged in your teams Comm Cells.
Telemetry Control Technician - Experience:

Experience of analysis work and prioritising incoming tasks in a reactive time pressurised environment
Experience of delivering excellent customer service preferably in a control centre environment
Experience of influencing and communicating to others at all levels to build relationships in a collaborative manner to get the desired outcome
Excellent communication skills combined with experience of making a considered approach when facing pressure and experience of making key decisions with limited information Telemetry Control Technician - Additional Information
Location: Coventry
Duration: The role is to start as soon as possible until 31st September 2021
Rate: GBP11.39/hr
Hours: 15hrs across the weekend (Sat & Sun), either a (Apply online only)hrs shift or (Apply online only)hrs.
The initial couple of weeks will be full time from Monday to Friday for the training.
