HOLMES Supervisor

Working in conjunction with West Mercia Police, we are looking to recruit a Home Office Large Major Enquiry System(HOLMES) Supervisor on a 6 month Fixed Term contract.

This position is to act as the Document Reader in the Major Investigation Room and supervise the work of the Police Staff.

The main responsibilities of the role include

- Act as point of contact within Major Incident Room
- Provide advise to investigators as required
- Ensure objectives set out by SIO are met
- Prepare evidential files ensuring they are completed to he highest standard
- Be responsible for the supervision of officers and staff

As a suitable candidate you will offer the following

- Be prepared to travel throughout West Mercia Policing areas
- PIP Level 2 Accredited
- HOLMES Trained
- Casualty Bureau Trained as per CBSAP
- Experience of major and serious crime investigations
- Experience of working with Major Incident Rooms
- Experience of managing and supervising staff
- Extensive experience of using HOLMES and Casualty Bureau Systems

This role is initially for 6 moths with a very good chance it will be extended, the starting salary point for this role is GBP32, 673
