Discovery are now recruiting for a full time Service Administrator for our Outreach Services in the Taunton, Chard and Yeovil areas.

The Job Role

  • To provide administrative and secretarial support to the Outreach Locality Manager in performing their role, acting as a point of contact both internally and externally for the management team in their absence.
  • To be the key point of contact both over the telephone and in written communications for the Service.
  • Establish and maintain appropriate administrative systems, records and filing systems on behalf of the management team.
  • To have delegated responsibility for the administration of the DTMS and liaise with payroll and other functions, as necessary, to resolve any outstanding issues.
  • To ensure the maintenance and enhancement of the standard office filing systems, enabling colleagues to quickly retrieve files, documents and other data.
  • To provide administrative support for management in connection with recruitment, liaising with the resourcing team as required.
  • To monitor data directly related to service compliance, prepare service for audit and support managers to address areas of non-compliance.
  • To prepare agendas, take and distribute minutes of meetings, as required.
