I am supporting my client, a market leader in their field, with their search for a supply chain & spares administrator.

This role is a pivotal part of the business, where tasks include checking stock availability, placing & processing orders as well as arranging the setup of products with engineers & arranging customer deliveries.

The role:

Validate & log orders: entering sales onto MRP/SAP system, entering details onto Excel control log
Check stock availability using SRP/SAP system
Order, progress & chase equipment & orders, including arranging delivery
Liaise with workshop engineers, service installers & field engineers: managing availability & communicating that to the relevant customer or salesman.
Keeping all systems up to date with the relevant documents & information

The ideal candidate:

Experience using SAP or a similar system (for example MRP) is essential
Good working knowledge of MS Outlook & MS Excel
Strong communication skills, able to deal with customers & colleagues in a professional manner across all levels of the business
