We are currently looking for Mechanical Team Leaders/Supervisors to work for one of our clients on a variety of heavy engineering/engineering construction sites around the UK.
The client is a market-leading manufacturer, supplier and installer of specialist rotating equipment to a range of industry sectors including heavy engineering, power generation and petro-chemical.
The role will include carrying out a range of duties including helping to supervise the removal of a wide range of equipment, the planned and preventative maintenance of equipment and breakdown repairs. In addition to this the role will also involve working in a hands on capacity on the afore mentioned jobs.
Sites will be based in the UK
Applicants must be experienced Mechanical Fitters with a proven track record of supervising teams. The ability to read and understand engineering drawings and work with risk assessments and method statements is essential. Previous experience of working away on site is preferred as is experience of working in heavy engineering and construction environments. A relevant recognised qualification is also desirable although not essential.
A current CCNSG Site Safety Passport is essential
NEACI "Blue Book" rates will apply which will include travel expenses Lodge and travel time.
