ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you will ensure that revenue and renewal targets are achieved for all Nielsen Book Commerce Solutions products. You will be in charge of identifying and delivering technical (standard and bespoke) solutions for clients in the International business (territories outside the Americas). Through effective account management, to maximize business opportunities in the existing client base.
RESPONSIBILITIES

To use technical expertise in the day-to-day role and give specific focus to one particular aspect of Commerce Solutions (integrated, web-based, or added value services). This will be known as the Technical Account Manager's specialism.
*
To deliver revenues in accordance with agreed targets through the provision of standard and bespoke technical solutions to a defined group of clients and prospects.
*
To deliver optimum technical support and project management to the Client Services team and their accounts.
*
To have a full understanding of all Commerce Solutions products, with a wider knowledge of Nielsen Book products and their interactions with Commerce Solutions.
*
To harness the expertise of the Client Services team in support of project management and the delivery of IT solutions.
*
To support the Client Services team in the delivery of presentations to existing and potential clients.
*
To contribute to the Commerce Solutions product development strategy.
A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOU
In this role you will need to absorb and manage large volumes of information from various sources, have previous account management experience, take a consultative approach in client negotiations (technical and commercial), be able to interpret client needs to create high-level specifications and then project manage the development and delivery of the solutions.
REQUIREMENTS

Previous experience in a similar role (account management)
*
Outstanding organizational & time management skills
*
Ability to multi-task in order to effectively support multiple business-critical projects and client engagements at once
*
Aptitude for learning new systems and processes
*
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
NICE TO HAVE
*
Knowledge of the book industry
*
Working knowledge of EDI standards
*
Previous experience in a technical support role
