We are looking for an Administrator to work with at our Clients office based in Barrhead. Our client is Europe's largest provider of grounds maintenance services and landscape construction projects.
They are wholly dedicated to providing green services and are passionate about ensuring a bright future for Britain's parks and countryside's. Our services range from professional open space management to landscape design and build, grounds maintenance, tree surgery, outdoor facilities management, biodiversity management and waterways management. We care for parks and gardens, amenity green space, playing fields, canals and rivers, woodlands, cemeteries and nature reserves. They work with both public and private sector clients to deliver bespoke solutions for each project's unique challenges.
Job Title: Administrator
Location: Barrhead
You will play a key role in supporting the local management team and operational staff to deliver grounds maintenance services.
Role Responsibilities
As Administrator you will report into the Lead Administrator and your main duties will include:
* Answering the telephone in a courteous and timely manner
* Ensure that all visitors are treated in a pleasant, courteous and efficient manner and provide refreshments as and when required
* Ensure that office filing is maintained and records are archived correctly
* Use Outlook to send and collate e-mails as requested by Contract Managers
* Type letters, create and collate reports as required
* Administration support for the contract/ office Team
* Use the finance system to raise purchase orders, input delivery notes and deal with account queries
* Help to ensure that accounts month end deadlines are met
Skills/Qualifications and Experience
* Proven track record in a busy admin role
* Experience in planning and programming
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Packages, particularly Word, Excel, Project and Outlook
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse range of people
* Demonstrable aptitude to utilise information technology including spreadsheets and emails
* Experience using Purchase Ledger
Schedule:
* 8 hour shift
* Monday to Friday - (8am-4.30pm)
