Centric Talent are looking for Experienced LGV Class One drivers for our client in Barnsley (S71), who is a chilled food logistics solutions provider to some of the world's top name food brands. This role is a permanent role and offers great career progression and job benefits.
You will need to have held your licence for at least two years and have 2 years' experience driving LGV Class One with a maximum of 6 points for minor offences only,
Working as part of our clients dedicated driving team you will be delivering perishable food goods from their Barnsley Depot to multiple stores for a well-known high street retailer across the North whereby you will be involved with the customer, unloading and the delivery of product to a high standard.
This is a permanent full time postion working directly for our client (PAYE)
Working in the LGV Class one Driving Team
Driving LGV Class One Refrigerated Vehicles
Providing good customer service to clients
Delivering perishable food goods to stores in the North of England
Keeping vehicle clean and tidy
Adhering to WTD regulations
Making sure you carry out your job in line with Health & Safety requirements on site.Essential Skills for this role
LGV Class One Driving licence min 2 years.
2 years LGV Class One Driving Experience
CPC, Digi Tacho - all in date
6 point max, can not accept DD, DR, or IN
Strong eye for detail
Full Training and induction will be given before start.
Working hours for our LGV driving Team:
5 Shifts over 7 days, 40 hours per week with plenty of opportunity for overtime. (overtime paid at GBP15.58 after 40 hours)
Days between Midnight and 6am
Evenings between 12 noon and 1900 hours
Start times can vary from week to week but you will be on the same start time rota for the full week.
Pay Rate
GBP14.25 per hour plus 10% uplift (GBP15.58ph) for unsociable hours worked between 12pm and 6am. This is also paid saturday and sunday and an additional 10% (GBP17.11ph) is paid for any hours worked between 12pm and 6am at the weekend.
