This job will play a key role in contributing to the UK's economic recovery, as 'Restart' is a cornerstone of the Governments 'Plan for Jobs' strategy.
The role will 'Restart' the working lives of many individuals who have become unemployed, because of the devastating economic impact of Covid-19. Providing a tailored employment support service to individuals to ensure no one is left behind as we help our communities build back better.
Restart will address the barriers to gaining new employment with tailored support for each individual to achieve and sustain good work, including supported job search, up-skilling, re-training for a different sector and restoring self-confidence for work.

The requirement of this role will be for a 'face-to-face' service.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and manage of pipeline of referrals from Restart to external skills delivery providers including our regional college partners.
* Work closely with Employer Services, local operational delivery teams and the regional Integration team to identify gaps in local skills provision aligned to labour market need and participant requirements.
* Where gaps in Skills provision are identified, work collaboratively with the Integration Team and Employer Services team to develop proposals for new skills and training interventions.
* Build effective partnership relationships with a range of external Skills providers including our regional colleges. This will involve frequent visits to and working from external provider sites.
* Support wider team to establish co-location opportunities with external Skills providers.
* Ensures best practice is adhered to and championed
Skills and Experience
Essential
* Previous experiences of partnership work in the Skills sector. Highly experienced in building, developing and managing stakeholder and partner relationships. Experience of representing the business to external stakeholders and building mutually beneficial partnerships.
* Educated to degree level or experience in a relevant discipline.
* Experience of working in a target driven environment
* Experience of delivering services to meet contractual and quality standards
Desirable
* Knowledge of the employability industry
* Full driving licence to enable deployment across a specified geographical area (region), when required
Additional Information
Salary: GBP34,051 - GBP40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Location: Bristol
Hours: 37 hrs (full time) 8.30am - 5.00pm Monday -Thursday, 8.30am - 4.30pm Friday
Closing Date: 16 March 2022 (Rolling campaign due to high volume of activity)
