Your new role
* The Workplace Assistant will be responsible for supporting the provision of a client focused service in their building. ??Taking ownership and responsibility for a total workplace delivery within the building using the ISS FM helpdesk and the wider workplace network.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor working practices on floors and ensure all areas are clean, tidy and safe
* Security pass management
* Local office inductions
* Stationery purchasing
* Post and courier services
* Support local office risk assessments
* Review and update noticeboards and signage as required
* Support and complete third party contractor inductions.
* Support and undertake office DSE assessments
* Support, coordinate, plan and undertake staff H&S inductions
What you need to succeed
* Excellent customer service skills
* Strong communication skills (oral/written)
* Ability to develop good working relationships
* An understanding of continuous improvement
* Enthusiastic, committed and determined
* Good attention to detail
* Willingness to roll up sleeves and make it happen
* Ability to lead by example
* Striving to improve the service offered with proactive approach to service delivery and client satisfaction
* Knowledge and understanding of the health and safety relevant to the office inc. Fire, First Aid DSE, and Accident reporting
* A general awareness of workplace services and operations
