Window Fabricator
Our client is keen to recruit an Experienced UPVC Window Fabricator Foreman to join their growing team in Swindon
The hours of work are 7AM - 3:45PM Monday to Friday
They are looking for dynamic, proactive, energetic and Experienced fabricator with a keen eye for detail to join us. The successful applicant will have previous experience of leading a team in a batch production environment of manufacturing UPVC frames.
The role will include many areas of production and manufacturing along with the use of associated machinery such as welders, corner cleaners, saws, millers and crimpers etc. You will be working in a clean and friendly environment with a team of skilled fabricators
Basic outline of the role:
Ensure work flows smoothly & in line with times allowed for each task.
Oversee training in general.
Ensure all areas are kept clean and tidy.
Assist sales team regarding technical queries
Organise overtime as required
Liaise with Operations Manager regarding material & quality issues
Full fabrication of UPVC & Aluminium windows, doors & bifolds.
Follow works orders and system manuals to ensure the correct spec is always achieved.
Use of machinery such as welders, corner cleaners, saws, millers and crimpers etc.
Complete tasks within a given time-frame.
What we are looking for:
-Strong leadership skills
- Fully conversant with window fabrication machinery and tools.
- Confident, reliable team player with an eye for detail & quality.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings.
- Excellent time management.
- Hardworking and motivated.
This is an exciting role for the right person, you will be working in a busy and rapidly expanding fabricator of PVCu, Aluminium and Composite products.
