We are delighted to be working alongside our established and highly professional client based in Burgess Hill who is seeking to recruit an experienced administrator, preferably with some general HR skills / experience / exposure.

Our client is a technical business who is seeking to recruit someone to get involved in general admin tasks to director level (discretion important). There is also an element of tasks associated with HR regarding policies and processes (discretion very important again. Previous experience of general HR admin work would be highly desirable

This role is for 16-22 hours over 4 or 5 days per week dependant on the circumstances of the job holder and if necessary the hours can be worked around schools runs etc if this happens to be applicable / important to the job holder.

GBP10.51 per hour plus good company benefits - parking also available on site

Candidate should be based close to Burgess Hill, West Sussex

Strong IT skills are essential - including the use of Excel

General admin duties

Perform a confidential assistant function for the Management Team
Support the Administrative requirements of all departments.
Coordination of premises contractors and manage the cleaning contractors.
Management of the company car fleet, repairs, insurance, fuel cards.
Manage the company mobile phones and agreements
Open and distribute incoming post, passing confidential mail to Finance Director.
Prepare outgoing mail, packages and collections as required.
Manage kitchen, office refreshment, and toilet supplies, ensuring stock is maintained.
Responsible for office re-cycling, waste paper, ink cartridges etc.
Organise lunch/dinner/refreshments for internal and external meetings.
Booking of all travel arrangements for staff including flights, hotels, car hire etc.

Job descriptions
Annual leave
Training & development
Appraisals
Employee satisfaction survey
Sickness
Annual leave
Leavers

We are seeking an excellent all round administrator. A team spirited personality with outstanding written and verbal communication skills who is able to work under own initiative, prioritise effectively and work to agreed deadlines whilst maintaining quality and accuracy.

Ability to problem solve and good IT skills are also necessary (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook)
