Python Developer
Our client is seeking a Python Developer (Fully Remote) The role is for a Mid level Developer. You will enhance and maintain systems /applications for a rapidly expanding tech business offering fully remote flexible working.
The Python Developer will uphold the highest levels of quality standards and strong communication skills will be essential to ensure the successful launch of enhancements and new business systems. They're an outcomes based business focused on Agile, so you'll be dependable and outcomes focused.
Core Responsibilities
- Designing and documenting a new workforce management system, and enhancing existing systems to maximise business efficiencies.
- Ensuring systems and applications are developed in line with business requirements and outcomes.
- Regularly update senior leadership on projects, owning and escalating issues which arise through to resolution.
- Creation of efficient and accurate detailed technical documentation.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven, professional experience of Python, Perl and/or Javascript
- Hands on knowledge of MySQL databases or PostgresSQL
- Experience with Git, SVN and/or BitBucket
- The ability to build and interact with Restful APIs
- Working knowledge of public cloud services such as Google and AWS
- Working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence would be advantageous
- Familiarity of Google Workspace would be advantageous
- Experience of QGIS would be a bonus
- A strong desire to maintain a reliable IT infrastructure using documentation, careful planning and automation
- Able to communicate with people across multiple locations and at different levels.
- Attention to detail and accuracy along with a positive and problem solving attitude.
