We are now looking for a Governance Administrator to join our busy team in Birkenhead!

The role will initially be home-based with options for hybrid working moving forward.

The role of Governance Administrator reports directly to the Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive.

Salary: GBP22,203 Per Annum

The role will be based in our modern head office in Birkenhead, Wirral or in our Birkenhead based depot. The office /depot is easily accessible from most transport links with just a short walk from Hamilton Square train station and local bus routes. Free parking is provided to staff either on site or nearby.

Governance administrator Duties:

To provide support to the associated Boards and Committees within the Magenta Living Group including Magenta Living Board, Bamboo Lettings Board, Hilbre Homes Board, WPH (Developments) Co Ltd and WPH (Building Services) Ltd.

This will include responsibility for the efficient operation of the Board and Committee process and involve preparation and finalising of agendas, sending invites, collation of reports, circulation of papers, planning catering, ensuring meeting rooms are available and arranging for any special equipment required.

To ensure the accurate and timely preparation of report packs (both electronic and hard copy) and any other paperwork required, taking, and transcribing minutes, following up actions and updating and monitoring the action tracker.

To support and involve other members of the team to provide an effective service for all Board Directors and Executive Leadership Team, including cover for other team members, and assistance where necessary.

Governance Administrator Requirements:

We are looking for someone with a positive and enthusiastic personality with a strong focus on attention to detail. Someone with a proven track record in a similar role within a busy Executive Office environment, experienced in taking and producing accurate minutes and experience of dealing with people at all levels and maintaining confidentiality. The ability to plan, organise and prioritise work is essential, and to be able to work with a wide range of stakeholders, both internally and externally. Possession of good communication skills, both verbal and written will also be required. Ideally, the individual will be fully proficient in all Microsoft Office packages including Word, Outlook, Excel and Teams.
