Act as the first point of contact support for customers via multiple channels (face to face, telephone, letter, email, portal)
• Act as a channel shift champion, promoting customer enablement & self-serve, demonstrating and coaching the customer where needed
• Signpost customers to information
• Provide basic advice and problem solve enquiries based on readily available information or scripts
• Collect customer intelligence to support service information & improvements
• Maintain / update customer databases
• Undertake customer surveys, campaign and commercial calls to support the corporate aims of the Council
• Work with other team members to organise and manage workloads effectively, ensuring that all customer and performance standards and targets are achieved
