We are currently recruiting for an Infrastructure Engineer to join our client on a full time basis in Stillington, Stockton-on-Tees. You will join a busy Infrastructure team and be responsible for ensuring the ongoing reliability, performance and support of the infrastructure solutions.

This will include the monitoring of the operating environments, responding to incidents/problems and planning for growth as well as installing, maintaining, upgrading and continuously improving the operating environment.

The successful Infrastructure Engineer should have good communication and collaborative skills, excellent analytical, problem-solving and time-management skills and have a strong customer service orientation to ensure that service requests and incidents are dealt with in a timely and professional manner.

Experience

  • Confident working with people at all levels in the organisation
  • Extensive knowledge of Windows Server, gained through working in an environment with a substantial number of end-users
  • Experience supporting Exchange Server 2016
  • Experience managing Office 365 products (eg Teams, Exchange Online)
  • Experience supporting Windows Server 2012/16/19
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Active Directory and associated services (eg Group Policy, DNS, PKI)
  • Understanding of the implications of IT and Cyber Security on the business
