As a Senior Data Analyst/Application Specialist you will support a number of applications major business units. To collaborate with project teams and operations ensuring that support issues are tracked, resolved and communicated effectively. To play a big part in ensuring high-quality responses to customers' issues in an ever timely and efficient way.
Responsibilities:
- Gain full application familiarisation and understanding of the business processes
- Communicate with client and keep them up to date with progress of their incident, both through phone and an incident logging tool
- Respond to new incidents quickly and resolve the majority of incidents within the clients SLA
- Defect fixing of designated problems.
- Create technical and user documentation based on learnings in support and gaps in the application's documentation.
- Working in project teams to develop data analytics solutions for clients, and data-driven technology assets.
- Developing solution features, following development best practices and architecture guidelines.
- Using data analytics tools and techniques to identify patterns, extract outliers, and perform analyses to address client problems.
- Developing data visualisations to display analyses to end users.
- Testing and validating solutions.
Skills and Attributes:
- Ability to liaise with internal and external customers at all levels
- Self-starter, able to work under own initiative
- JIRA Administration (Dashboard, form design, workflow, report creation, troubleshooting etc.)
- In-depth understanding of REST APIs.
- Ability for problem solving with analytical first approaches.
- Database skills in both MS SQL Server and Oracle
- Knowledge of both Java and JSON
- Knowledge on ASP.NET would be an advantage
- Intermediate level Front End skills in any of the following HTML, XML, JavaScript, CSS
