The main purpose of this role is to help Partners acquire new clients and service their existing clients through the provision of technical investment support. This role supports the Partnership, field management teams, and head office departments, dealing with investment technical related queries through a phone, email, live chat and mezzanine service. The role provides specialist support around articulating the SJP Investment Proposition as well as guidance on markets, portfolio & fund positioning, performance and overall financial planning focusing on client outcomes.

What you'll be doing:

  • Provide outstanding investment propositional and processing support to the SJP Partnership, PSS, clients and wider business. This includes the investment product & service range - SJP DFM, investment management approach, fund performance, investment markets and investment business processing and servicing via phone, live chat and email platforms.
  • Support the communication, promotion and education of the investment proposition and tools across SJP to maintain and build on excellent servicing standards to clients as well as improving understanding of the IMA/DFM and investment product range, utilising digital tools where appropriate whilst supporting the development of these tools.
  • Support the adoption of the SJP Investment Proposition through proactive Partner and wider business engagement, focused utilisation of technology, collaboration with Partner and PSS support teams to aid the continuous revaluation and development of the Investment proposition.
  • Articulate St. James's Place fund performance against benchmarks and markets, demonstrating the added value by investing via the Partnership.

Who we're looking for:

The ability to work effectively in a fast-moving technical query environment with a close attention to detail. Including:

  • QCA Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning, ideally working towards QCA Level 6 Chartered Financial Planner Status or equivalent Investment based qualifications e.g. CISI, CFA.
  • Ability to deliver complex information clearly and succinctly
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
