About the role

As our Low Code Developer we want you to take ownership of your career and drive us forward. You will have the opportunity to develop solutions that meet our business needs using low-code platforms. Working closely with multiple stakeholders in an agile environment across the entire project lifecycle, working closely with Business Analysts to understand business requirements and with Solution Architects on functional and technical design.

Working with the technical lead to help design, implement and run new solutions. You will develop and integrate the solution to meet the specification and work with the functional testers for pre-prod and UAT testing. You will bring development through to release, ensuring efficient and effective delivery, with a view to reducing the ongoing maintenance and support burden.

A successful candidate will already have previous experience in Low Code software development. As this role will have direct interaction with more junior staff we would love to hear from people who know how to mentor and coach others, not necessarily within a corporate environment. Additional experience with Azure, AWS, Salesforce, Mendix or Outsystem will be desirable but not essential.

What will I do?

  • Participate (and seniors to lead) in code reviews and contribute to solution design

  • Assists in setting projects up throughout multiple stages of the life cycle

  • The ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines, and recommend solutions after analysing information

  • Improve current project delivery and share learnings to support Operate continuous improvement

  • Work as part of a team by supporting and helping them to establish an environment of best practice

What are we looking for?

  • Experience in Low Code software development

  • Strong experience of iterative / incremental software delivery

  • The ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines, and recommend solutions after analysing information

What is nice to have?

  • Previous experience in mentoring or coaching others

  • Azure/AWS experience

  • Salesforce experience

  • Mendix or Outsystems experience
