The logistics porters travel around the site by foot or vehicle. We're currently looking for an enthusiastic individual with experience gained in a similar role, to join our College Logistics team.

Essential to the smooth running of the College, our Domestic Services Department ensures that all areas of the College are cleaned and maintained safely and to the highest standard. It also constantly strives to achieve excellence in its service provision. Join us, and you'll play a vital role at the heart of that friendly and highly professional team.

As a Logistics Porter, key responsibilities will include the transportation of various items around the College site, setting up and dismantling venues for organised events, meetings and conferences and making sure the public areas of the College are well maintained. It's a role where no two days are the same and you should be able to manage various tasks on a daily basis, complying with health and safety regulations, to ensure that our operations run smoothy.

The communication skills it takes to engage in effective dialogue with colleagues, staff, visitors and where appropriate, pupils is essential too, as is a proven ability to provide the highest level of customer service. A dedicated team player that is able to work without direction, you're reliable, have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail and are keen to learn and develop.

Our logistics porters work a shift pattern, including a combination of early and late shifts during the week and currently one in 5 weekends.
