We are looking for a full time Sales Receptionist to join our team and represent our heritage and brand values through exceptional customer service.
This is an exciting opportunity for you to give high-quality service, through repeat sales, up selling and effective communication.
Initially this is a fixed term 12 month contract to cover maternity leave.
Office Based 9-5 Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
To meet and greet all visitors, customers and company personnel.
To input "Cash and Carry" customer orders and direct customers to the order collection point.
To deal with customer cash/card payments and general banking and reception duties
Maximizing sales potential at all times, whether outbound / inbound calls or face to face at reception.
You must be comfortable with sales as you will need to meet and exceed targets, overcome objections and utilize reporting tools to help grow business and identify opportunities
To plan and make outbound sales calls and answer inbound calls as a matter of priority.
To be responsible for accurate order capture
To promote company products, brand and loyalty scheme
To ensure all the relevant product training is put into practice throughout the year. We want you to have to have excellent product knowledge and be proactive if you know there are any gaps.
To develop long-term relationships with customers.
You must possess excellent listening and customer service skills and be able to demonstrate a friendly, efficient, and professional telephone manner at all times.
To work closely with Field Sales Manager as part of a unified Sales Team
To respond to the direction and instruction of management.

Skills, know-how and experience:
Strong ability to communicate and be proficient in English language both written and verbally.
It is essential to be competent when working with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Must be able to adapt to change and plan and prioritize workloads well.
Be open-minded about new ideas.
Additionally:
You may be asked to visit customers, attend training and company exhibitions and may be required to work additional hours occasionally (which may include weekend work).
As well as a salary there is also the opportunity to earn commission
Must comply with all company policies and procedures and deliver within the standards of all certification bodies ie: ISO 9001 Quality, ISO 14001 Environmental & BRC (where applicable)
