They are currently recruiting for Packaging Designers to join the team based at their flagship Experience Centre in Northampton.

They are looking to bolster the design team and have a hands on design role that would see you working in graphical and structural design, assisting design workshops and creating new innovative solutions. You will be dealing with the National Sales Team and have clear alignment to our business strategy and how design supports these aims. The successful candidate will have the ability to inspire creativity, demonstrate a capability to understand the insights behind design and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will need to be self-motivated with time management and deadline control.

The job role comprises:

• Showcasing the tool, product and services to key customers.
• Supporting workshops with key customers.
• Supporting design projects for key customers.
• Supporting, facilitating and managing proactive internal innovation projects.
• Liaising with Account Directors and Managers within the business.
• Dealing with project managers, Marketing, Packaging technicians and procurement from our Customers.
• Ability to investigate and develop insights from our customer markets, their stakeholders and drivers.

Educated to degree level or equivalent in graphic, packaging or product design or have a minimum of 2 years relevant design experience:

• Experience with Illustrator, Photoshop etc.
• Experience with ArtiosCAD (2D/3D CAD)
• Good communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• An ability to understand the insights behind design
• Good understanding of Marketing and Brand considerations
• Quick to learn and develop new ideas
• Able to provide creative, effective solutions
