Hays are supporting a business based in Fareham with the recruitment of a Category Manager (HR/Professional Services)

Your new role
This role will be responsible for the HR/Professional Services category. You will be working closely with department heads to ensure that all savings targets are met and that category strategies are met. You will be responsible for tendering across different spend categories. You will also be responsible for continuous improvement across the business, ensuring that you build and maintain excellent working relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers. You will also have responsibility for ensuring that all relevant policies and procedures are in place and adhered to.

What you'll need to succeed

• Working towards CIPS qualification is preferred
• Working knowledge of OJEU
• Experience working in a procurement team
• Experience with indirect procurement categories, including HR and Professional Services
• Excellent relationship building skills - with stakeholders and suppliers
• Ability to manage high workload, with several projects running at any one time
• Excellent time management skills
